MINI drives into Pakistan and Jordan with its latest electric models
New-generation models bring fresh design, digital technology and premium mobility
MUNICH – MINI is expanding its global presence with two significant market moves in 2026, entering Pakistan with a fully electric model family and returning to Jordan with its latest generation of vehicles.
The developments mark another step in the brand’s transformation towards electrification, digital innovation and modern urban mobility.
The expansion brings MINI’s latest products to two markets through established BMW Group partners.
Pakistan debut
In Pakistan, the brand has entered the premium mobility market with a fully electric line-up, while in Jordan, MINI is reconnecting with an established customer base following its return now.
MINI made its debut in Pakistan earlier this year in partnership with Dewan Motors, BMW Group’s long-standing importer in the country. The market entry introduces the latest generation of fully electric MINI models, combining the brand’s distinctive design with locally emission-free driving and its signature go-kart feeling.
The electric range features models aimed at different lifestyles and mobility requirements. The all-electric MINI Cooper reinterprets the brand’s classic compact model for a new era, retaining its familiar proportions while incorporating a minimalist interior centred around a circular OLED display.
The MINI Aceman brings a new fully electric crossover concept to the premium small car segment. It combines compact exterior dimensions with a more versatile interior and a progressive design, positioning it between traditional hatchback and crossover formats.
At the top of the range, the MINI Countryman Electric offers greater interior space and increased range capability. It is also available with all-wheel drive, extending the model’s appeal beyond everyday urban driving to longer journeys and activities outside the city.
The Pakistan launch was accompanied by the opening of a new BMW and MINI showroom in Karachi. The facility follows BMW Group’s Retail.Next concept, combining digital touchpoints with personalised customer interaction to create a modern retail environment.
Return to Jordan
MINI has also returned to Jordan in partnership with Abu Khader Automotive, BMW Group’s official importer in the country since 2010. The move marks a new chapter for the brand, which previously established a presence in Jordan and opened its first showroom in Amman in 2012.
From August 12, MINI began re-entering the Jordanian market with its latest model generation. The vehicles combine the brand’s familiar design language and go-kart feeling with greater comfort, versatility and opportunities for personalisation.
The return is expected to reconnect MINI with its existing community of enthusiasts while introducing the brand to a new generation of customers seeking premium vehicles with distinctive styling and individual character.
Abu Khader Automotive’s established local expertise will support customers through dedicated sales and aftersales services tailored to the Jordanian market. The relaunch also forms part of BMW Group’s longer-term commitment to Jordan and its plans for the continued development of MINI in the country.
MINI Head Jean-Philippe Parain said the debut in Pakistan and relaunch in Jordan represent important milestones in the brand’s journey, highlighting its ambition to bring its design, digital technology and driving characteristics to new and returning markets.
The two developments come as MINI continues to expand its international footprint while focusing on electrification, digital innovation and individual expression. The wider BMW Group, which includes BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and BMW Motorrad, operates a production network of more than 30 sites and a global sales network spanning over 140 countries.
In 2025, the group sold 2.46 million passenger vehicles and more than 202,500 motorcycles worldwide. It reported a profit before tax of €10.2 billion on revenues of €133.5 billion, while its workforce stood at 154,540 employees as of December 31, 2025.
